Beliefs & Boundaries

I am so glad you are here!  Please know that I write from a Biblical world-view and this blog is a ministry to Christian women.  My number one passion for writing The Alabaster Jar blog is to encourage, equip, edify, inspire and sometimes even challenge the Christian woman in her journey towards Biblical womanhood.

If you have stumbled on this site and Jesus Christ is not your Lord and Savior, don’t feel the need to leave because you do not call yourself a Christian.  God brought you here for a reason!  Please take the time to look around and stay awhile.  I am sure you will find comfort, love and acceptance here.  If you would like to invite Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord as Savior, just click on this link:  How to Become a Born-Again Christian

We live in a broken and fallen world and sometimes life is very painful.  We get hurt by others, we deal with our own constant doubts and fears, and sometimes life is disappointing or just plain overwhelming!  It is my heart’s desire to create this on-line site where you will feel sheltered from negative hostility.  In addition to peace, the few moments that you spend here you will feel refreshed and rejuvenated by the Living Water.

Your opinions  are welcomed, however, if your comments are rude, belittling in any way, filled with strife or anger, I have the right as the owner of this blog to protect the purpose of this writing ministry and I will not post your comments.

While I am sure there will be some readers who do not agree with my Christian perspective and they may leave a comment saying just so, please know that I will not respond to your comment nor will I post it.  It is not because I am incapable of refuting another world-view or that I am afraid to do so, but rather that is not the purpose of this blog.  There are plenty of other blogs out in cyberspace that will do just that.

One last thing, as the Lord furthers the exposure of this writing ministry, I am sure the community of readership will blossom, with that being said, there will be times in my life as a busy wife and mother that I will be unable to respond to all comments that are posted and I do apologize in advance for this.  Please know that I love to receive them and I appreciate hearing from you!
